What you'll learn
The narrative.
The 3Cs Model™: why Commercial Responsibility, Customer Value and Culture are not competing priorities, where your conflicts sit, and what they cost you if they are ignored.
The process.
Systemic thinking process tools that accelerate traditional Interest-Based Problem Solving. You’ll learn how to surface the two legitimate positions holding a problem in place, and dissolve the conflict rather than concede one side of it.
The conditions.
The right people, the right behaviour and the right process, and why the work stalls when any one is missing.
The narrative
Commercial Responsibility, Customer Value and Culture pull against each other in every organisation. The tension shows up in three conflict zones: industrial, departmental and operational. You’ll map where yours sit and what they cost you if they are ignored.
The strategy
HPtE Strategy® puts the conflicts in order. It starts with Zone 1, because nothing else moves until there is a system there and it is being worked, then works outward. Each phase, from Exploration to Proof of Concept, proves the method before you commit to the next.
The Rapid Improvement Coach
The conflicts that matter rarely wait for the next meeting. You’ll see a live demonstration of the Rapid Improvement Coach (RIC), AI support that speeds the reasoning, not the judgement. It helps you think a problem through whenever it lands, even at 2am.
About the course
Every organisation has conflicts it keeps revisiting. They can never be completely removed, and they are not the fault of the people in the system. They are a characteristic of the system itself, and a characteristic calls for a systemic response. The HPtE Workshop brings management, union representatives and subject-matter experts into the same room to learn that response together. In the morning you learn The 3Cs Model™ and how to read your own conflict zones. In the afternoon you work through the Rapid Improvement Process and the conditions that make it hold: the right people, the right behaviour and the right process. This course holds the slides and templates from the day, so you can prepare beforehand and keep using them afterwards. You leave with a toolkit to turn conflict into competitive advantage, and a route to go further if you want to: the AI add-on, the HPtE Practitioner Pathway and the HPtE Community of Practice.
Who it’s for
Leaders
You carry the cost of the conflicts your organisation keeps revisiting. You’ll see where they sit, what they cost you, and why the usual fixes keep buying a quiet truce instead of a lasting change.
HR and IR professionals
You’re the people who get called in when the conflict lands. This day gives you a structured way to work it with both sides in the room, and the commercial case leaders need to hear before they back the work.
Union representatives
A method built for both sides of the table. It treats security of employment as something the solution satisfies, not something traded away, and gives you real influence over the decisions that shape your member employees’ work.
What you leave with
A toolkit to turn conflict into competitive advantage, which you can start using straight away. You’ll also have the workshop slides and templates in this course, and a route to go further: Practitioner accreditation and the HPtE Community of Practice.
